1) Sri Andal Temple & Vadapathrasayanar Temple

The above temple is one of the most important 108 vaishnavite temples. This
town is the birth place of Goddess ‘Sri Andal”. The temple tower of Vadapathrasayanar temple is inscribed in the Tamil Nadu Government emblem. In this temple Adi Festival is very important festival i.e notified festivel.
The garland used by the Goddess Sri Andal is weared by the Good Vadapathara Sayanar every day and by Madurai God Alagar on every Chitra full moon day  and by Thirupathi God Venkatachalapathy on Prammorchavam every year.

2) Arumigu vaidyanathasamy Temple

This is one of the most important 1008 Saivite Temples. God Arumigu
Vaidyanathasamy and Goddes Sivakami Ambal are in the temple. It is very ancient and Heritage temple.

3) Kattalagar koil

This temple is situated in western ghats 12km from the town. In this temple the
God Sundararajaperumal blesses the sin of a Mandooga Rishi. It is also called varagasethram. In this temple premises there is a spring in which water will available on all days of the year.

4) Pilavakkal Dam

This dam is located 21km north west of this town. Regular Buses are available.
This is also called Periyar Dam. In this place there is also a childrens park with play equipments. This is one of the most important picnic spot for this district.

5) Ayyanar Falls
This falls is situated in the eastern slope of western ghats. This is located 20km
south west of the town. Regular busses are available to reach the falls.

6) Thiruvannamalai Temple
This is also an important temple situated in western ghats 3km from the town.
This temple is also called “ Then Thirupathy”.

7) Western Ghat Picnic Spot

The Western Ghat is situated 8 km from the town. At this place, there is a small water falls. It is one of the important picnic spot to the town. At this place small temples “Kottaimalayan Petchiyamman, and Pemalayan” are also located.
