The area of the Sirkali Town is 13.21 Sq. Km.  As per the 2001 census the population of this town is 32228.   The municipality having 24 wards.  Out of 24 wards daily 12.5 MT Garbage was collected both in 18 wards by municipal employees and 6 wards by privatization.  

 Primary Collection

                        For the primary collection 10 Nos. Try cycles were purchased in the estimate cost Rs. 2.47lakhs and tender has been called on 23.6.06 to purchase 5 Nos. push cart and Dust pins.  The collection of door to door garbage are doing by this municipality through 20 cycle rickshaws and 5 push carts. 

Secondary Collection

                        Already this Municipality having 2 Nos. of lorries and  1 No. of new tipper lorry is purchased for secondary collection they are under utilization.

 Compost Yard

                        As per expected census population in the year of 2025 the compost yard land required  is 5.81 acres.  Presently the Municipality having 10.663 acres land for compost yard.

                         The Windrows platform partly constructed with the Estimate of Rs. 4.75 lakhs, and the water supply arrangement and watchman room constructed with the Estimate amount of Rs. 2.00 lakhs above work is nearing completion.
