within Idappadi Taluk and at a distance of 40 Kilometres
North-West of Salem and at a distance of 16 Kilometres
from Sankari Durg which is the nearest railway station.
It is bounded by Mettur and Omalur Taluks of Salem
District on the North, Salem Taluk of Salem District
on the East, Bhavani Taluk of Erode District on
the West and Tiruchengode Taluk of Namakkal District
on the South.
