Dharapadavedu Municipality was constituted as Town Panchayat in the Year 01.04.1967 and as second grade on 25th March 1973 and was upgraded as first grade from 28.02.1973 as per G.O.Ms.No.143 dated 23.01.1973 RD & LA Department.
