This Municipality is Grade III Municipality having population of 50000 and the area of this Municipality is 28.50Sq.K.M. The introduction of E-governance makes office function automate besides providing fulfill services to the public in various fields of Local Body.

Nodel Officers and Co-ordinator

The Avadi Municipality Tmt. G. Rajeswari, Assistant Programmer incharge the Municipality for E-governance. Providence Local Area Net Work (LAN) Information Centre in this office, in future may have proposed to select to civics centre. One in the Heart of the town and another at residential area. In the above centres LAN will be setup for accessipility. All the centres will be connected with the main server in the Municipal Main Office.

Selection of Banks

This Municipality Transactions are mainly with the Sub-Treasury, Poonamallee and Karur Vysya Bank Thiruverkadu, State Bank of India Maduravoyal.
