It is an important Municipal town in the
North- Western part of Erode District and it is belongs to Sathyamangalam
Taluk and Bhavanisagar Panchayat Union. It is situated between 1128
latitude and 7726 longitude and at 213M above M.S.L. It is located at a
distance of 40 km from Coimbatore.
The town which is a Grade III. Extends over an area of 1.5 sq km. covering
the whole of Madampalayam village and parts of Nallur and Nochikuttai
village. It is well connected by three main roads (major district roads)
