E-Governance of Nagapattinam Municipality is aimed to provide online citizen services and information to all hierarchies and monitoring performance of Municipality.

All Municipal records are computerised and information stored in a central server and connected to an uplink which online on the internet.

Property tax, Water Charges, Nontax, Profession Tax and trader license fees and Birth and Death certificate may obtained from the computerized civic center at the municipal premises.

Through the e-governance programme Nagapattinam Municipality hopes to provide easy access to the municipality and municipal records to its citizens.
